- I am a self-professed expert of little or nothing. My husband calls me a generalist, or well rounded. I guess that's true. I do like to learn a bit about lots of things, all the while perfecting none of them. I am a stay-at-home feminist. It's what is best for my family and me at this point in our lives. One day, when my youngest leaves for college, I'll return to work--for both self fulfillment and financial reasons. I'll need to help pay for the kids' educations. That's exactly why I decided to blog. I'm hoping it will help prepare me to re-enter the world of publishing and earn a little income. I am pledging 100% of the profits from this venture to the family college fund. Total, my husband and I have four children, currently ages 19, 13, 12, and 11. We have one dog and two cats. Together they cost me a fortune in food.
