I think I know where kids get all their energy.
They suck it out of all the adults around them. That's why you get so drained watching them.
Little energy suckers. Think about it. :)

Aahh, yes, I have always said they suck the life out of you. Why oh why can't someone figure out how to bottle their excess for us to use. I just can't keep up. In fact, a big joke at my house, I tell my kids I am closed after 9 PM. They're like, you can't be closed, you're not a store, and I'm like, OH YEAH I AM CLOSED FOR BUSINESS. Last night my son asked me for something kinda late, and I was dozing and I couldn't remember this morning whether I dreamed it or not. hahaha
ReplyDeleteLOL. I'm with you, sister LizaJane! I'm going to have to try your line about being closed for business. My sister uses a similar line about the kitchen being closed after a certain time. Love it!

Wow, you all have more energy than I did. I quit parenting at 8:00! It became a real challenge when the kids no longer had that 8:00 bedtime. Fortunately for all of us, my wonderful husband took care of the middle of the night issues (most of the time) while I was busy sleeping.
